Our Goal

Name of the Directorate: - Directorate of Information and Communication Technology.

Administrative Division: Information and Communication Technology Department.

Ministry: - Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.

Date of Establishment: - July 7, AD

Current office: - ICT Tower (3 storey), Agargaon, Dhaka.

Vision: Ensuring knowledge-based economy, good governance and sustainable development through e-service services at the doorstep of the people.

Mission: High-speed electronic communication, e-government, efficient information technology, human resource development, cyber security, implementation of new technology concepts, effective coordination, ensuring the spread of technical concepts among all. Establish information and communication technology infrastructure, reliable maintenance procedures and attractive information technology services.

"Sheikh Russell Digital Lab" has been set up in five educational institutes in the upazila and UDC has been set up in four unions. Work is on to set up a "Sheikh Russell Digital Lab" at other educational institutes.
